Thorella’s Hammer

One of my favorite objects in my room is this small hammer with flowers painted all over it, and when you twist open one end, you get small screwdriver options. Now you’re probably wondering what this hammer for ladies has to do with me and how I can be an asset in the creative field. I like to think I and this lady hammer have a few things in common. Just like the floral hammer, I’m reliable and full of surprises. I’m very handy in projects that may start small only to become something full of life.

The floral hammer was a gift that gave life to the blank walls of my room. I, too, want to be a gift that will give life to the seemingly blank pages of a brief. Every creative department needs someone who cares more about the people than the product, and I believe I can be that person. Even when the project may seem outside of my abilities, I’m never above taking the opportunity to learn and grow to achieve success. I’ve gotten pretty used to using the hammer, but that does not make me a builder or interior designer or Thor. I believe that people can perform beyond their labels, and that is what I intend to do in life because “that’s not my job” is something that will never cross my mind if I see someone who needs help.
